byz
As an Oil fan, I'm really hoping someone drafts anyone else in your top 7. I'm really hoping for one of the centers. Mine: 1. New Jersey - Jack Huges2. NY Rangers - Kaapo Kakko3. Chicago - Alex Turcotte4. Colorado (from OTT) - Kirby Dach5. Los Angeles - Bowen Byram6. Detroit - Trevor Zegras7. Buffalo - Cole Caufield8. Vegeta
Too volatile of a draft to guess but Heres the story hughers and kakko at 3 its the mostt pivotal spot, when Byram goes out get ready for an unslaught of dman in the next pick . I think byram goes 5th. same story with Centers, Once a center is picked after turcotte be ready they are all going out. as a habs fan if I want 1 guy to drop is Caufield but he went from 17th to 7th in a month so hardly any chance. if not Harley/york/broberg are fine. if Podkolzin is still there i think we take him, im curiopus about kalyiev 51g 51a 2nd best goal scorere in the draft why not... Thunder
I won’t have time to put up a list. My sole “prediction” is that unless one of the forwards currently in the top 10 falls unexpectedly, Montreal will draft a D. My guess would be either York or Harley. Vegeta
my issue with D is they wont b rdy when /if our current foward group hits rfa status...with those 10m caphit domi is getting 8m+ next year gallagher getting 6m+ next year petry getting 7m+ next year what if KK gets 70pts this year... ir next ... now its 9m+ Edited June 21, 2019 by Vegeta

The last time we had brothers on the team it worked out super well. 1

Zipper
And Kotkaniemi is legitimately good. Maybe the most valuable player from that draft.
originaljroc
One of the biggest picks that was panned as a "reach" at the time that I recall vividly was when the Jets chose Mark Scheifele seventh overall in 2011. I personally remember being shocked at the time, as many others were. So many players "ranked" higher than him were left on the board. If you redid that draft, though, he's probably the first overall pick. Ever since, I've taken that to heart when evaluating how much of a shock it is when a team goes off the board for their guy. Always wait and see.
Ydomat
I mean it could be Detroit know who they wanted and couldn’t find a partner to trade down in the range they thought they would get him.
