byz
Went with Mailgun, I think we're back up and operational. We have a free plan for up to 1,300 emails/month, which we... might actually hit. I have no idea what I'll be charged at that point, so we can find out together
James
We'll be close to that I think but might be safe. Worth noting: when someone PMs you to say that you're up in the draft, it seems polite to thank them. But maybe don't, haha. Save the emails!
Salros
I think it's a Park Ex problem. 😉 But seriously, we have a very active association. Good problem to have. All extra charges to Park Ex. 🙃 1
Ralphdog
Im no software engineer but isn't it weird it's happening not too long after PXP joined Capwise? Just sayin

barrett
I use mailgun for one of my companies. good. but a bit pricey. Postmark will get you 30,000 credits for $30. Can't be beat price wise. (I use them for all transactional emails at my other company)
bill0755
I’m pretty confident the Capwise would pitch in financially to help with any additional costs of the new system. Count me in.... 3
byz
You wouldn't believe how buried this was in Mailgun: So, we'll have a small cost for busy months like this one where we top 1,250 (not 1,300) messages, but it should be less than $5 before the monthly credit reset. I'm more than fine with that Thanks all for the suggestions! Back to drafting! 2
huntz71
I'm still not receiving the emails yet. I've tried clicking the notifications setting to maybe reset it, but no luck so far
byz
Can you PM me your email? I think I'm seeing yours getting rejected by the server.

It probably assumes he's peddling porn. Too many emails mentioning 'amateur'

Too many emails mentioning 'amateur' I am using my work phone, so that’s a good possibility. What’s weird is I usually search “yummy oldies”!! 🤪
byz
@huntz71 @Raken65 Hey, I found the issue, and it's not on your fronts. I had to get the credentials for the Capwise domain from James, so in the meantime I hooked up the mail server to my agency domain. Domains that are not Gmail, Outlook, or other major ones are rejecting the mail server due to the mail coming from not where it was initially sent - which... isn't a surprise. I've already moved yesterday to get the mail server hooked to the Capwise domain to "cut out the middleman", just waiting 24-48 hours for it to actually point. Any minute now and it should automatically be fixed *fingers crossed*.
byz
I think we should be set now, just waiting for confirmation from my test subjects. 😈
byz
Also if anyone were curious, 1,743 PMs have been sent across Capwise in the last 6 days. Y'all are busy! 1 1
