WAIVERS

The CHA uses a silent auction system for waivers.

  • Players who have been released are on waivers for at least 48 hours [AnythingPopup id=”1″]
  • Place a bid by sending a PM to the Commish and bidding on Fantrax [AnythingPopup id=”2″]
  • Minimum bid is $500,000, and all bids must be rounded to the nearest $1,000
  • If you have the highest bid, you get the player and the bid amount will count against your cap for the remainder of the season [AnythingPopup id=”3″]

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Can a player be added as an IR replacement with a waiver bid?

A. Yes, but remember that the waiver bid amount will continue to hit your salary cap even after the player has been released.

Q. Is there a maximum waiver bid?

A. There is no maximum to how much you can bid, but you must have enough cap space to cover it once all relevant moves are processed.  These moves must be presented to the Commish when you place the bid.  If the moves and the bid will put you over the cap, the bid will be void.
