I love the guy but I won't be bringing him on board now! Goodbye Tommy write soon! He is worth the money to the Caps but not so much to team Rainman.

We will never know how much an owner sticks his nose in. I guess they can seeing they foot the bill but how many GM's look like dough heads because the owner

deal. Now what real GM with an once of brains would have made that deal. Melnyk had to be the one who pulled the trigger. Dorion couldn't be that stupid all by himself.Who in their right mind would give up Dahlin who has such a big upside for Burrows who clearly was on his way down the other side of the mountain. We have to remember that these owners have made millions in other business's without someone telling him what's good for him. I'm sure Katz keeps Chiarelli on a very short leash.

I’m probably harder on Lindholm than most. But I owned him for a year and a half and was pretty disappointed. $5 million a year is steep for a guy who puts up 40 points and doesn’t do much else. If you don’t want Ferland then trade him for a pick - don’t overpay a complimentary middle six winger. Sven Baertchi can be had at the deadline.
Hanafin doesn’t seem as good defensively as Hamilton, but I don’t have any stats to back that up. I see Hamilton as a top 10 dman in the league, and Hanafin is a second pairing guy right now.
Well maybe you do have the stats to back it up. I know you might say it's not a fare stat because the Hurricanes weren't that good a team. Last season he was
minus 20 and the year before that he was a minus 19 and before that a minus 14. Today some don't put as much faith in plus minus like they once did. Plus they have been trying
to move him for some time now. For Hamilton this is the 2nd time he's been moved because of the dressing room. I guess time will tell how this plays out.

I think Veleno might be the sleeper in this draft. I think I posted earlier that I thought Montreal might take him but I don't think that they are in a position
to gamble. The fans would go nuts on him. He is that big center that they need . And he's born in Montreal. The question is does Montreal have the balls to go off the grid?

I think maybe people forget that he went in the 1st round in 2012. The game he plays has always been his game even going back to Jr. Me thinks he had a lot to do with keeping Vegas off of their game!

Geez it's such a brutal grind to get to the finals! Damn I now have to admit that they are for real. I waited all year for them to crash and
burn and that never happened. Why should it happen in the finals.

Me thinks Tavares will want to go to team that is close to winning now. I'd like to see him in Vancouver but we are too far away but maybe the Leafs. They could move some money around to make it happen.

I think Buffalo has had lots of luck. In the last 6 drafts they picked in the top 8 six times! 1st this year two 2nd's and three 8th picks. How many top ten picks does one team need to improve?

Sounds like Galchenyuk is next but so far Montreal keeps getting older. It'll be interesting to see if Montreal try to replace Sergachev through a trade or draft. Maybe both. What a exciting time of year to be a hockey fan.

One has to admit that Melnyk has done a super job in destroying this franchise! We can drag Dorion into this mess also. You have to think that Melnyk
and Aquilini attend summer camp together. They both want to make the hockey decisions and use their GM's as puppets!
