Player Salaries

  • The CHA uses AAV figures for cap hit
  • The “cap number” found at www.nhlnumbers.com is the official CHA cap hit
  • All salaries are rounded to the nearest $1,000
  • If an NHL team retains some cap hit after a trade, the CHA team still must pay the player’s total cap hit
