I have Tampa this year in anything that involves money so they become my team for the cup. Still, seeing the Jets franchise winning it all would probably get filed under "sports romance". Maybe better still, The great 8 avoids a legacy of not being able to lead the Caps to the promised land and becomes a champion.....or Vegas breaking all the rules of logic and winning as an expansion team.
And Im rooting for a Tampa team that is easily the ĺeast exciting pick...the life a hockey poolie I suppose.

Ya I said the same thing since October.
I had them packing it in by January.
I couldnt have been more wrong.
Those wheels got some serious locknuts holding them on.

Can Vegas beat either Winnipeg or Nashville?
Can you imagine if Vegas goes to the final?
What does this mean for the Seattle franchise? Will they get the same player exposure as Vegas had given the success of this first year team?
Has to be right? They can't change the rules for the next expansion team can they?

He went shoulder to face and end up jumping into the bench because he left his feet. Momentum schmomentum

I think it's crazy that he hasnt been suspended yet in these playoffs. A few very questionable hits and I think he left his feet several times. The hit on Wennberg stands out to me. It's all fun and nice to be aggresive but this guy skates the line every night. Take the rest of the series off asshole.

Honestly from my limited knowledge of the available talent he would be my pick as well

You are probably right, but it could be a move that would increase the Blues already good chances of winning it all this year. Fingers crossed.

Im hoping that Patches, Price, Plex and a few others are gone by this time next week.
Price to St.lou for Allen and Robert Thomas -
Fallin for Dahlin!!

I know he got hit with a shot in the nugget, but at this time of year, with that huge contract about to kick in, does it make you think he could be Subbaned? Is it also suspect that the Habs immediately labeled it a concussion and not the "upper body injury" that is usually the first public diagnosis of a concussion?
Things that make you say Hmmmm

I love stories like this one. It validates our adoration for these athletes we follow with child-like enthusiasm. ONE OF US! ONE OF US!

After NYI beat the Golden Knights on Thursday....
"I think we've played some better hockey," Islanders coach Doug Weight said. "We did good things today and it's got to be something that'll be fun to watch on the flight home. We were starving for a 2-1 game, we got it against the best team in the league and it's really exciting." -

I think you overestimate the lure of the CH all together. At one time I thought the same thing about Tavares maybe coming here. But then I thought, why would he want to come here over somewhere like San Jose? Heavy media scrutiny along with language politics and an unfriendly tax situation could deter any player from coming to MTL, let alone a player that will literally have his pick as to where he ends up. I'd have to think a team like the Sharks, that are competitive year over year are a much more desirable landing spot for Tavares. That's not even taking into account the weather conditions, and if you think that weather isn't a big factor in the players minds when signing contracts just look at Winterpeg. No kidding they did it the right way through the draft and Cheveldayoff is a genius for his patient approach when you consider how historically difficult it has been to get players to sign there.
