Ive got a soft spot for Davidson. I though given the right opportunity in Edmonton, he could have proven a very capable 5-6 . The door is wide open for him now. I think by seasons end, he has that spot on lock.

Just an interesting side note, this will be the first time since the 91-92 season that the habs will start a season without a Russian born player on their roster.

I think he will probably come in at 5.5m.

That's the thing with these contracts being signed after a career year. As in Nino and Arvidson for example. Are we gonna pay for what we think will be better numbers in the future or did both of these guys just hit their respective ceilings? I think if they produce at status quo then we will get what we paid for.

Always liked Markov. He has a quiet way about him and he never wanted attention ahead of the team. I think he's been underrated at times and come out on top consistently. Not often anymore that you could say and actually mean, "I'll be sad if he goes"

I know that nobody really likes it when the rookie stands up in the room to speak, but that won't stop me. Being a part of this freakin fantastic association is a real coup for me. When I found this place it was like I died and went to Fantasy Hockey heaven. And imagine my delight at how efficiently it is run. Never have I been in a pool or league that is run so well. And I don't really know much about what each of the governing members brings to the table, but I know that if I have a question or concern, I don't have it for long!
From the Capwise site to the great collection of characters in the CHA right down to the banners, of which I have none (yet!),this place is awesome. And to think James may have to dip into his own pocket for even a pencil is ludicrous. I made a small donation of 20$. I'm sure everyone could afford something similar. I'm certain some of you have made bigger contributions. But for the rest of us.... C'mon guys, lets show our appreciation with a couple of bucks!!

After the site came back online, and I go to capwisehockey.com, I get a page telling me that my account has been suspended and am unable to enter the site. However everything is fine when I use my mobile. Is this problem on my end or is it something you are aware of?

The Burns deal is the reason we have a lockout every few years. Theres no way Burns is worth that hit in year 4 and beyond. The owners must be saved from themselves.

I was on a journey exploring the site and came across a link at the bottom of the home page. Not sure if it was settings, or options or layout....Anyway I was shown a drop down menu and selected the only other layout option which was simply titled James. Now my headers are orange and the time stamps on posts are either invisible or only visible when you scroll over them. I cant get it back to the way it was because that drop down link is no longer there. Can some one help me out and get me off this crazy ride?
