  1. Halfway through.... 1. Maybe. 2. Probably not. 3. Probably not - he was on pace for 94, but was injured as well. 4. Probably not - he is at 13 more than halfway through the season. 5. Definitely not - he has 3. 6. Definitely not. 7. Definitely not. 8. Maybe - just under that right now. 9. Maybe. 10. Maybe. Man, I am awful at all things hockey. Ha!
  2. WHOA! These are wiiiiiild. Love it!
  3. This is a thread for future predictions, not present evaluations
  4. Sure, let's get weird. 1. Zegras wins the Calder. 2. Kuemper wins the Vezina. 3. Barkov scores 100+ points. 4. Eriksson Ek scores 30+ goals. 5. Tyler Johnson scores 50+ points. 6. Linus Ullmark is a top-5 goalie. 7. Hamilton wins the Norris. 8. Jack Hughes is PPG player. 9. Arizona wins the draft lottery. 10. VGK beats FLA for the Stanley Cup.
  5. Hey, just a heads up: on mobile at the main page (www.capwisehockey.com), the menu doesn't really work. I can't click on the options other than home. Not a huge deal, but just letting ya know
  6. I will never recover from this abandonment.
  7. Surprised at the following: Fleury > Larsson (ANA) Geekie > Bean (CAR) Twarynski > Anyone (PHI) Soucy > Kahkonen (MIN) - although not terrible All of the others aren't bad. I actually think this team will be pretty decent. Those are four solid NHL lines so far and a pretty good defensive unit.
  8. Anyone interested in watching the draft together in our Discord on Friday at 8PM EST? I can stream it if need be as well.
  9. Lineup: Palat - Danault - Bailey Domi - Tierney - Donskoi McCann - Jarnkrok - Tanev Donato - Lizotte - Virtanen Klefbom - DeMelo Dunn - Braun Bean - Stecher Kahkonen Driedger Extra forwards: Fischer, Bastian, Blackwell, Gaudette Extra defensemen: Larsson, Lauzon, Borgen, Kylington Extra goalies: Vanecek, Point
  10. Let's see 'em! I'll post mine in a bit Create one here: https://www.capfriendly.com/expansion-draft
  11. This hits too close to home with my losses in GME, AMC, SNDL, etc. I have a gambling problem, ha!
  12. This one is at the top of the ECFL spreadsheet, staring at me every time I open it.
  13. Ok, a week and a day now. Haha. As a heads up to everyone: my dog is having surgery on Tuesday, 11/10, so I may take a bit to post my picks or respond. Sorry!
  14. Only one week to go until amateur drafts!
  15. ROUND 1 #4 Detroit Red Wings Lucas Raymond (F) HELL YEAH! Super pumped for this guy. I think he has the potential to be a top-line wing. I read a few reports who weren't so high on him, but I definitely am. WOULD RATHER: No one (maybe Jake Sanderson) ROUND 2 #32 Detroit Red Wings William Wallinder (D) I don't know much about this guy, but a lot people had him projected to go in the first round. From what I've read he is a fast, two-way defender. I'll take those all day. WOULD RATHER: Marat Khusnutdinov #51 Detroit Red Wings Theodor Niederbach (F) Love it again. I wish Torgersson would have fallen so the Wings could've gotten both, but this is who I wanted at this spot. I'm not mad. WOULD RATHER: No one (maybe Emil Andrae) #55 Detroit Red Wings Cross Hanas (F) Again, I'm not super familiar with this gent. I've read a few scouting reports since the draft and they are all over the place. He's a line-driver. Then, he's inconsistent. He scored a lacrosse goal, so that's cool. I'll be watching his progress for sure. WOULD RATHER: Tristen Robins ROUND 3 #63 Detroit Red Wings Donovan Sebrango (D) Apparently a physical, two-way defender with a good first pass. Average skater with lapses in judgement according to one scout. We'll see! WOULD RATHER: Joni Jurmo #70 Detroit Red Wings Eemil Viro (D) I like this one. I've listened to a few podcasts that had very good things to say about him. Not the best offensive d-man, but skates very well and is good with puck possession. WOULD RATHER: Jean-Luc Foudy or Zion Nybeck ROUND 4 #97 Detroit Red Wings Sam Stange (F) Unknown on my end, but apparently a shoot-first winger that was passed over in the last draft. No idea. WOULD RATHER: Eamon Powell #107 Detroit Red Wings Jan Bednar (G) We needed a goalie prospect and I am very happy with this one. The Wings love their Czech goalies. Goalies are a crapshoot though. WOULD RATHER: No one (maybe Sean Farrell) ROUND 5 #132 Detroit Red Wings Alex Cotton (D) ROUND 6 #156 Detroit Red Wings Kyle Aucoin (D) ROUND 7 #187 Detroit Red Wings Kienan Draper (F) #203 Detroit Red Wings Chase Bradley (F) I don't know anything about the last four, but these guys were still on the board: Samuel Johannesson, Kasper Puutio, Ronan Seeley, Alexander Pashin, Viktor Persson....really a shame. Ha!
  16. Askarov is gonna take a few years to get over here. If he ends up being a 1G, which seems to be the expectation, that sounds great.
  17. I'm saying... Laf Stutzle Byfield Sanderson Raymond
  18. Let's hear 'em! Sanderson goes #4. Askarov is taken in the top 10. Perfetti falls out of the top 10. Zary goes in the second round. Ottawa takes two forwards at #3 and #5. Reichel is drafted in the top 20 and before JPP. Seth Jarvis goes at #12. Picks #15 and #22 get traded.
  19. I'm a huge fan of his skill! Great IQ, shot, and passing ability. His skating is a little suspect and he gets knocked off of the puck pretty easily. But, knowing how my opinions turn out, he's gonna be a top five player in the NHL in two years. Haha.
