Some of these guys might not be a #1 but they played top minutes. Darnell Nurse eats minutes. Has shit goaltending behind him and Hits, Blocks and makes a huge difference for the oilers. If he got the PP time he's be cracking the 50 to 60 point mark. Forget his contract . This is about the player. I'd take Nurse anyday over all of these guys. He's big and nasty and does it all.

I think if he were getting those top PP numbers at the NHl level he could easily be regarded as one of the best Dmen in the NHL . He is a solid number 1 dman. Definitely top 20 in the league and top ten is debatable .

@Music ManI hear you. But the offer was picks for a player . Those picks were premium and the player was premium. It's a valid trade that no one would have a problem with. Me telling Dan I would take the same picks back and we would make public is almost like I stood up and pointed at the trade and screamed "look at this trade!! look how fair it is!". I get your plight. Maybe there's a shift in the way team management is working? All the class act bullshit has done the Habs no favors in the quest to win the cup.
