Gordie Howe, Daniel Sedin, Ron Francis. Two things here .... yes, I'm that old, and yes, my line sucks!

Wow ... nice deal

Signed 8 year extension with Buffalo at 9M AAV

Damn, I'm at a family birthday dinner Sunday night, or I would have for sure, if nothing else, just to toast your GM name and photo! Sorry I can't be there.

It's a mess. Nicholson's press conference is playing very badly here in Edmonton. Nice of him to fly in from Toronto to tell us that the players in the room are fine. Why fire the GM if the players in the room, along with a few smaller pieces, are good? The entire scene is dripping with incompetence. Bhagdad Bob tells us there's something in the water and he doesn't know what it is, yet he will fix it. It's clear after yesterday that not only does he have no idea what's wrong with this team, but has no idea as to how to fix it. Maybe a little less red wine and a little more drinking of his own poisoned water, would go a lot further to finding a solution to this talent-starved-bottom-18, cap-strapped team.

Agreed, boys. The new scoring blows chunks ... miss the old already. Sent my complaint in ...

Thanks! And yes, I've been researching and outlining a second one (unrelated) for 6 months or so now. Almost ready to start writing ... early in the new year, I suspect.

Thanks guys, hope you enjoy it

Yeh, I guess I wasn't clear about that. This whole promotion side of things is awkward and embarrassing for me, heh. Thanks, Marc

Hey Fellas... If you're looking for something to read when the games are over and your lineups are set for the next day, give this a look. https://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_13?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=prinz+david's+castle&sprefix=Prinz+David's%2Caps%2C220&crid=2UPRK0VXNQPE7

I think I heard on Sportscenter that the rule had something to do with using a stick from a player over 6'6", or something like that. They must have been joking, right?

Ahaha!! I guess the Canucks were just wolves in whale-clothing all those years. Looks an awful lot like the orca-bay group ...

Some great history with the Seattle Totems ... my pick too. Just don't know if the new ownership group is going to want to create any PR issues with the Native-American population there. If not, I guess Sea Lions would be my pick. Ties in nicely with the Seahawks. Does every land animal have a sea-counterpart? Are there Searacoons? I think biologists just got lazy when it came to naming the ocean folk.

The Seattle Cattle. Heard it here first

Gonna be an interesting off season in Leafland
-
gotta move him, or risk losing kapanen. If Marner and Matthews sign for 10M and 12M respectively, and Nylander gets, say, 7m, that will leave the Leafs with 9 roster spots to sign with a little over 8M to do it, for the 2019/20 season. It would also leave them ripe for an offer sheet on Marner for example, if NHL GMs had the balls to take advantage of the rules made available to them. Just can't see how any of this works for the Leafs while still having Nylander in the fold.
