    indeed that was an atrocious call. anyone who ever played hockey knows when u lose balance the only way to get some power on a shot is to get ur hips under your feet.... an atrocious call. maybe we should goback and disallowed orr OT winner?

     

    on a side note  mtl follows up with 3 goal ... what a team lol... they might be the best "score in bunch momentum" team.

    ill tell you what if mtl trails behind 6-2 in the 3rd, and they score twice to make it 6-4... bet on it theyre winning the game

    I doubt they go with Kraken.  And they won't go with Cougars (too many Huskies fans would hate them; plus the Victoria Cougars are a historical rival of the Seattle Metropolitans, right?).  Whales won't happen because of the Canucks.  Eagles won't happen because of Philly.  Totems won't happen because it toes that line of political correctness... why risk it.  Although it is among the most obvious choices... it's been used many times for Seattle hockey teams, and I've never heard it used anywhere else for a sports team.

     

    So you're left with the following, ranked in my order of preference...

     

    1) Evergreens/Emeralds -- Might as well lump these two together.  I do think green will be featured prominently in the color scheme.  For some reason, I feel like Emeralds is the more likely of these two.

    2) Rainiers -- OK, I guess?  

    3) Seals/Sea Lions -- These are basically interchangeable.  There's already been a Seals, so I don't think they'd go that way.  Sea Lions is fine.

    4) Sockeyes -- Like the article implies... don't name your team after a fish.

    5) Firebirds -- OK, but awfully close to the Thunderbirds, who I assume are continuing to play in Seattle?

    6) Renegades -- Yawn.

     

    Kind of surprised they don't have Metropolitans on there.  Everyone loves a throwback, and they are one of the oldest pro hockey teams around.  Going back to a classic name worked for Ottawa!

    Worked? In 2021 they are called the nordiques book it!

    seems  he  actualy  dodges  the player but his Hip actually  catches the shoulder/head of  Seney

     

    If its  not wilson I think its  a clear  Päss nothing to see here ( hell  the 5 min penalty might be 2 much  to begin with)  

    But its tom wilson so what are your  tough?  I think its  an unfortunate collison and since only the hip  actualy catches seney and he   actualy  tried to  dodge him with his  shoulder  I think hes in the clear

    side note : if He  can   inside the rules Tom Wilson is a heck of  Hockey player.. imagine him and Ovi comming for you... thats 500lbs of  Pure power and speed.

     

    he might of actually  changed his  ways... hes  a  2.91hit/game  over  400 Nhl game Averaging  12:09 in that span . vs   2.22Hits/per game playing 19:53 per game

    You read my mind.  Huge Leafs fan here and I was thinking of Kadri when I was typing.  Man would the Leafs have looked stupid if they had given up on him that early.  Chicago is going to win this deal HUGE.  And while Perlini is not turning out to be a top 6 player right now, he looks to be a solid 3rd line value guy.

    altought its been a  few  year  I agree , kadri,scheiffle also took a while hell not  everyone is Mcdavid. seems  to be a trend where Bigger players takes longer ( obviously they have to  adjust  not beeing the big kid  anymore)  vs   smaller player  whos always be ''fast or shifty' and their  skill still applies :  see marner gaudreau etc
