I can think of no good reason not to postpone the drafts by a week. Everyone will just need to make sure they're drafting quickly since we'll only have 2 weeks til the season starts.

My actual theory is that Brisebois had another opportunity elsewhere and Yzerman, knowing that he's going to replace holland next year anyway, did Tampa a favor by stepping aside so they could keep Brisebois.

You need to be more intentional about who you draft. You can't underestimate how important punability is to a player's draft value. I took Blount late in my draft just to make sure I had some good pun options... like "To Put it Blountly" or "Smoke that Blount", etc. In the end, though, I decided on "Kupp Check".

5 leagues are now done (PCFL ,ECFL, NAFL, IFHL, CFHL). The HUEL has 1 pick left, and the WCFL has 3. GNFL has 10 remaining, while the SFHL is bringing up the rear with 15 picks remaining.

Well the NAFL managed to get it done, ha. I think we're at that 3-picks-a-day pace by now. The SFHL is moving so slowly it actually fell over.

Maybe IFHL, too... 12 picks left.

I would love to get ECFL (10 picks left) and NAFL (3 picks left) done today... think we can do it?

Last year the CFHL did 10 rounds in 9 days. This year it was 8 rounds in 7 days. Pretty impressive.

CFHL has officially reached pick #100. Holy moly.

Tampa and Toronto are so good, but I really think that 3rd spot is up for grabs in the division. Boston is surely the heavy favorite, with Buffalo the underdog and Florida in the middle. But I could see any of the three of them making a good run for it this year. That'd be a hell of a swing for Buffalo, from 65 pts to 95. But hey, Colorado went from 48 pts to 95 in one year, so why not?
